RALEIGH – The NC State men's soccer team will honor its seniors prior to Saturday evening's home match against Atlantic Coast Conference foe Pittsburgh. Kickoff from Dail Soccer Stadium is set for 7 p.m. and the match will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra.

APPROACHING ELITE COMPANY
With NC State's next win, the Wolfpack will claim the 500th victory in program history and become just the 31st NCAA Division I program to reach this mark.

LAST MATCH
NC State dropped an overtime affair with visiting High Point Tuesday night, falling 4-3 to the Panthers. The Wolfpack batÂtled back from a late 3-2 deficit to force the match to overtime, but would ultimately fall when High Point took advantage of a scoring opportunity in the 95th minute.

Sophomore midfielder Julius Duchscherer scored his team-leading fifth goal of the season in the match. The tally was also the 10th of his young career.

SENIOR NIGHT
Saturday's match against Pittsburgh will serve as Senior Night for the 2016 season. In a prematch ceremony, the Wolfpack will honor the careers of Jonathan "Boo" Davis, Yanni Hachem, Michael Hinkson, Alex McCauley, Travis Wannemuehler, and Lukas Zarges.

Saturday's match will serve as the annual Kay Yow Pink Match at Dail Soccer Stadium. Fans are encouraged to wear pink and support the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

SERIES HISTORY
-Saturday's match marks the fifth meeting between NC State and Pittsburgh.
-The Wolfpack holds a 2-1-1 edge in the series.
-In the last meeting between the teams, the Wolfpack tied Pittsburgh 1-1 in double overtime on the road on Sept. 20, 2014.
-In the last Raleigh meeting between the teams, NC State defeated Pittsburgh 1-0 in overtime on Sept. 10 of the 2013 season.

SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
-Pittsburgh enters Saturday's match the owner of a 2-9-2 record which includes an 0-4-1 mark in ACC play.
-The Panthers earned their lone point from league play in a 1-1 (2OT) draw at Duke on Sept. 23.
-Pittsburgh has been shut out in its last four matches, all of which have been losses.
-The Panthers are led offensively by Luca Mellor's three goals this season.
-Pittsburgh is coached by Jay Vidovich, who is in his first season at the helm of the program. He previously won a national championship with Wake Forest in 2007.
