No. 22 NC State travels to No. 24 Louisville, Friday night at 7 PM on ESPN3.

- In the midweek, the Wolfpack (6-2, 1-1 ACC) outlasted Gardner-Webb 4-3 in a Tuesday night thriller thanks to goals from Ade Taiwo, Yanni Hachem, Ryan Peterson, and Zach Knudson. Travis Wannemuehler chipped in a pair of assists in his first start of the year.

- Louisville enters the match 4-2-2 (0-0-2 ACC). The Pack and the Cardinals will meet for only the fourth time ever on Friday. NC State holds a 2-1 advantage in the all-time series.

- Last season, State claimed a 2-1 win over the fifth-ranked Cardinals behind Alex McCauley's career-high 12 saves, an effort that earned him ACC Player of the Week honors.
