NC State to Compete at Golfweek Conference Challenge

RALEIGH – The NC State men's golf team returns to action this weekend, playing at the 2015 Golfweek Invitational in Burlington, Iowa. The three-day tournament begins on Friday, Sept. 25 and concludes on Sunday, Sept. 27.

LAST TIME OUT
NC State (7-4-0) placed fifth in the field of 12 teams at the 2015 Kiawah Island Invitational (Sept. 11-12). Freshman Davis Richards and junior Jacob McBride tied for sixth place in the field of 80 golfers with matching scores of 219 (+3).

THE COURSE
This weekend's tournament will take place at the Spirit Hollow Golf Course, which will play a par of 72 over 7,360 yards. Ranked as the second best course in the state of Iowa, Spirit Hollow has recently hosted the 2012 Iowa Amateur Championship, the 2014 NJCAA Division I Men's Championship, the 2015 MVC Women's Championship, and the Golfweek Conference Challenge since 2013.
