GREENSBORO, N.C. --Robbie Mudge and Beck Bond have been named to the men's tennis All-Atlantic Coast Conference Team, as announced by the league office on Monday.
For the third-straight year, NC State has placed at least two student-athletes on the team.
Mudge was named to the second team, and has earned the honor for a third consecutive year.
The senior has spent the dual season between the top spots in the lineup. He has won a team-high 24 singles and 27 doubles matches, with five victories over nationally-ranked singles opponents and seven wins over nationally-ranked doubles opponents.
He has also been a mainstay in the ITA rankings, checking in at No. 74 in singles and No. 26 in doubles with Ian Dempster.
Bond earned the first all-conference honor of his career after a dominating senior season. He was named to the third team after earning an 11-1 record in conference play and 23 total wins.
Heading into the end of the season, he holds a 10-match win streak, and has picked up three wins over ranked opponents.
The Wolfpack fell to Florida State, 4-2, in the ACC Championships this past weekend, but await the NCAA men's tennis selection show as the team looks to continue its post-season run. The show can be streamed live via NCAA.com, and is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
