RALEIGH - Following its second straight road WNIT victory on Sunday afternoon, the NC State women's basketball team (18-14) continues play in the tournament's round of 16 at Temple on Thursday evening. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.

NOTING THE WOLFPACK
-NC State enters Thursday's game the owner of a 18-14 record.
-NC State picked up its second straight win of the 2015 WNIT on Sunday, winning 69-65 at East Carolina.
-Due to injuries, NC State has been down to seven scholarship athletes and nine in total since Feb. 8 and will be for the remainder of the season.
-NC State has hit 231 3FG this season. The current record of 242 was set during the 2013-14 campaign.
-All three of NC State's starting guards average at least 10.3 points per game.
SCOUTING THE OWLS
-Temple enters Thursday's game the owner of an 18-16 record.
-The Owls have won on the road at Marist (67-54) and Penn (61-56) in the WNIT this season.
-Temple is very balanced offensively, as five players average 10.3 points or more per game. The team is led by Alliya Butts' 12.4 points per game.
-The Owls are 8-6 at home this season.
OVERCOMING ADVERSITY
Due to injuries and the NCAA's ruling on freshman center Sara Boric, NC State has had five student-athletes on its team this season miss a combined 78 games.
FREE THROWS
With 113 free throws made this season, Miah Spencer is tied for eighth all-time in program history. The single-season record of 139 was set by Linda Page during the 1984-85 season.
FOUR FIGURES
Senior captain Len'Nique Brown-Hoskin is rapidly approaching the 1,000-point mark. The Texas native has scored 981 career points in 136 games, 867 of which have come at NC State.
CENTURY MARK
Brown-Hoskin's next appearance for NC State will mark the 100th in her Wolfpack career. Krystal Barrett (114) is the only other player on the team to have reached this mark.
WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES
Sophomore forward Jennifer Mathurin has seen tremendous improvement from the 2013-14 season to now. NC State's leading rebounder this season, Mathurin has improved her scoring average from 2.3 to 7.2 points per game, her rebounding average from 2.4 to 5.4 rebounds per game, her free throw percentage from .533 to .704, and her field goal percentage from .333 to .358.
FIRE AWAY
For the second straight season, NC State remains a strong three-point shooting team. The Wolfpack averages 7.21 made three-pointers per game (42nd in NCAA) and has connected on 231 this season. NC State has hit at least five threes in 27 of 32 games this season.
