RALEIGH - The NC State women's basketball team returns to action at home on Sunday afternoon, hosting Wake Forest. Tip-off between the Wolfpack and Demon Deacons is set for 2 p.m. from Reynolds Coliseum.

NOTING THE WOLFPACK
-NC State enters Thursday's game the owner of a 12-10 record which includes a 3-6 mark in ACC play.
-All three of NC State's starting guards average at least 10.0 points per game.
-NC State is without senior captain Krystal "KB" Barrett (Dec. 19 knee injury) and freshman McDonald's All-American honorable mention Chloe Jackson (Nov. 21 foot injury).
-Miah Spencer leads the Pack with a 1.42 assist to turnover ratio.
-When shooting between 40 and 50 percent this season, the Wolfpack is 9-1.
-NC State is the best free throw shooting team in the ACC, converting from the charity stripe at a .774 clip.
SCOUTING THE DEMON DEACONS
-Wake Forest enters Sunday's game the owner of a 10-14 record which includes a 1-9 mark in ACC play.
-The Demon Deacons earned their lone conference win against Clemson on Jan. 29.
-Senior Dearica Hamby is the third highest scorer in the ACC at 20.1 points per game and the fourth best rebounder at 10.3 boards per contest.
-Wake Forest ranks 5th in the ACC in FG percentage (.436).
-The Demon Deacons are coached by Jen Hoover, who is in her third season at the helm of the program. She has accumulated a 38-49 record at Wake Forest.

HOOPS 4 HOPE PRESENTED BY REX
Last season marked the ninth annual Hoops 4 Hope game at Reynolds Coliseum. The game was broadcast live on ESPN2 and saw $5 from every ticket sold go directly to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. During the second half, NC State administrators presented a check to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund for $45,643. An impressive total of 8,114 fans packed Reynolds Coliseum for the event.
The 10th annual Hoops 4 Hope game will be played on Feb. 22, 2015 against Duke. The Wolfpack is on pace to crack the half-million mark in donations during this season's game.
HANDS UP ON DEFENSE
NC State has held its last four opponents to a combined shooting mark of 85-230 (.369) from the field. Three of the Wolfpack's last four opponents have shot .370 or lower.
