
Wolfpack Drops Road Game At Boston College

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College shot 65 percent in the first half and held on to its lead, defeating the NC State men's basketball team 79-63 on Saturday.
NC State (17-12, 8-8) was led by Kyle Washington's 14 points off the bench. Ralston Turner added 13 points. Olivier Hanlan scored 24 points to lead four BC players with double-figure scoring.
NC State trailed 63-42 with 8:25 and slowly cut into the Boston College lead. The Pack shaved the deficit to 66-54 on a corner 3-pointer by Trevor Lacey, but Boston College answered moments later with a traditional 3-point play.
Boston College (10-18, 2-14) shot .652 in the first half to build a 43-26 lead. Hanlan had 14 in the first period, leading BC to a 15-for-23 shooting performance during the first 20 minutes.
Up Next: Two regular season contests remain. NC State will play at Clemson Tuesday, March 3 at 9 p.m.
