RALEIGH - Despite trailing by 18 points at halftime and as many as 20 early in the second half, the NC State women's basketball team (15-11, 6-7 ACC) mounted a huge comeback to defeat the visiting Miami Hurricanes by a final score of 68-65 Thursday evening inside Reynolds Coliseum.
With the game tied at 65, senior captain Len'Nique Brown-Hoskin hit admittedly the biggest shot of her career with three seconds left, a deep three-pointer to give the Pack the final lead of the evening.

"It was either create for myself or create for someone else," Brown-Hoskin said during a postgame interview. "I had a feeling. I have been chosen to take the last shot a couple of times and it didn't fall, but today was the day."

The Wolfpack will next be in action on Sunday, Feb. 22 vs. Duke in the 10th annual Hoops 4 Hope game. Tip-off is set for noon inside Reynolds Coliseum.
