Anthony 'Cat' Barber added 24 points, while Caleb Martin scored 21. NC State, which entered Saturday's game making 5.3 shots per game from 3-point range, buried a season-high 9-for-17 from beyond the arc. The Pack also convered a season-best 80 percent (28-for-35) at the foul line.

Gott Said It: "First, let me just say I am going to enjoy watching football tonight a lot better now than if we had lost. I'm proud of our guys. Bucknell played great, they shot the absolute lights out. They made tough three-pointers. They made threes on the run, they made them stepping behind screens. There were a few of them where they got loose and had open looks, but a lot of those were made under duress. They played great, but our guys battled and they never quit. We have to play without Cat for 11 or 12 minutes in the first half. I thought Cody got more comfortable as the first half wore on, I thought he did a nice job. That was good for our team to survive without Cat. I think guys stepped up. Malik has not played particularly well, but he came back today and had a nice game. He rebounded the ball pretty well and scored it. Maverick bounced back. He got 27 and made big, tough, important baskets at important times. We're just one of those teams that is going to slug it out every night, probably. Our guys got a nice win today against a team that is going to win a lot of games this year. They're very good, they're very well coached, have five starters back. They won 19 games last year. That is the kind of team we like to play. I like playing teams like that, but our guys did a nice job."
Turning Point: After Bucknell took a 73-72 lead with 8:24 remaining in the game, the Pack went on a 13-2 run to take a commanding 85-73 lead. During the run, the Martin twins accounted for eight of the team's points.
Up Next: NC State heads to Tampa, Fla., for a Sunday, Dec. 12 contest at South Florida. Tipoff is slated for 4 p.m. on ESPNU.
