RALEIGH – The NC State women's basketball team (7-2) continues its three-game home stand Sunday afternoon when it hosts Elon (5-2) at Broughton High School. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.

NC STATE - ELON SERIES HISTORY
-Sunday's game marks the eighth meeting between NC State and Elon. The Wolfpack holds a 7-0 lead in the series.
-All seven prior meetings have been played in Raleigh.
-NC State and Elon last met on December 7, 2014. The Wolfpack earned an 84-51 win over the Phoenix.
-Throughout his coaching career, Moore is 20-3 against Elon.

SCOUTING THE PHOENIX
-Elon enters Sunday's game the owner of a 5-2 record.
-The Phoenix has picked up wins this season over Lenoir-Rhyne, Charlotte, American, East Tennessee State, and Furman. Elon has lost to Liberty and Navy.
-Elon returns three starters from a team which went 19-13 last season and lost at Georgia Tech in the first round of the WNIT.
-The Phoenix was selected to finish sixth in the Colonial Athletic Association this season.

Junior guard Miah Spencer has dished out 47 assists this season (5.2 per game). In five games, she has recorded six or more. Should she keep up this pace, Spencer would end the season with the highest number of assists per game since Krissy Kuziemski dished out 5.3 per game in 1992-93.

As of games played December 9, Spencer ranks 45th in the NCAA and second in the ACC in assists per game.

EFFICIENCY IS KEY
With a plus/minus rating of +9.67 points per game, Spencer is the most efficient player for NC State this season. When she is on the court, the Wolfpack has scored 491 points and allowed 404 (+87). Dominique Wilson (+8.33) ranks second. Among non-starters who have played at least 20 minutes this season, freshman DD Rogers (+2.25) has the best rating.

RACE TO 50
NC State head coach Wes Moore is 50-25 in the midst of his third season at NC State. With the December 6 win over Charlotte, he ranks fourth among active ACC coaches for the fewest games required (75) to earn 50 wins at their current school. Only Jeff Walz (Louisville - 63 games), Joanne McCallie (Duke - 64), and Muffet McGraw (Notre Dame - 74) have achieved this feat quicker than Moore.

HOME IS WHERE THE PACK IS
Despite playing at two different home venues while the $35 million Reynolds Coliseum Walk of Fame and History Project continues, NC State is a spotless 5-0 at home this season. Under Moore, the Wolfpack is 31-6 in Raleigh.

GET TO THE GLASS
As of games played December 9, NC State ranks 39th in the NCAA and fourth in the ACC with 43.89 rebounds per game. The Wolfpack achieved a stunning and rare statistic in the win over Charlotte, grabbing more offensive rebounds (27) than the 49ers did in total (26).
