NC State Wins Third Straight, Defeats Radford 67-52

RALEIGH – The NC State women's basketball team (3-0) continued its hot start to the 2015-16 season Tuesday night at PNC Arena, defeating visiting Radford (1-1) by a final score of 67-52.
The win marked NC State's fifth straight 3-0 start to a season and was the Wolfpack's final game at PNC Arena this year, with the remaining 12 home contests to be played at Broughton High School's Holliday Gymnasium while the $35 million renovation of Reynolds Coliseum continues.
On the same day it received three votes in the USA Today Coaches Poll, the Wolfpack was led in scoring by redshirt junior Dominique Wilson's game-high 17 points. She was joined in double figures by Miah Spencer (12) and Jennifer Mathurin (10). Spencer nearly notched a double-double in the winning effort, slinging nine assists in addition to her 12 points on 5-7 shooting from the floor.
The Wolfpack shot 11-25 (.440) from three-point range and 24-60 (.400) from the field and out-rebounded the Highlanders 45-31.

NC State's next contest will be its first road game of the season. The Wolfpack will play at 2015 Big South champion Liberty on Friday, November 20. The game will tip at 7 p.m. and be broadcast live on ESPN3.
