Mudge Captures Doubles Titles in Turkey

Mudge and former Wofford star Robery Galloway partnered to win the titles
RALEIGH, N.C. - Recent NC State graduate and three-time All-ACC standout, Robbie Mudge recently won doubles titles at ITF F38 and F39 Futures tournaments in Turkey. Mudge partnered with former Wofford star, Robert Galloway to win the pair of doubles titles.
Mudge and Galloway won nine-straight doubles matches, including victories over the No. 1 seeded doubles team in both tournaments.
In the F38 tournament, the duo took out the No. 1 seeded team of Luke Bambridge and Laim Broady in the semifinals, before overcoming a first-set loss to claim the title over Russia's duo of Kirill Dmitriev and Andrei Plotniy, 1-6, 6-4, (10-5).
Mudge and Galloway dominated the competition a week later in the F39 tournament. They concluded the tournament with an upset over top-seeded Daniel Dutra da Silva and Eduardo Russi of Brazil, 6-4, 3-6 (10-5).
Mudge advanced through qualifying into the main draw of the Turkey F40 Futures Tournament. He will take on top-seeded Ramkumar Ramanathan in the first-round of the main draw, this week.
