Wolfpack Begins Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational Monday

RALEIGH – Following a 20-day break from tournament play, the NC State men's golf team returns to action on Monday at the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational in Vero Beach, Fla. Hosted by McNeese State University, the tournament will be played at the Quail Valley Golf Club and will feature 54 holes over the course of two days.

THE FORMAT
Quail Valley Golf Club will play a par of 72 over 7,350 yards for the purposes of this tournament. Teams will play 36 holes on Monday beginning with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start. Tuesday's final round will begin at 8:45 a.m. and will feature seeded tee times.

THE SEASON SO FAR
NC State is off to a very strong start to the 2015-16 season. Through three tournaments, the Wolfpack has recorded two team top-two finishes and a cumulative record of 33-6-1.

THE WOLFPACK LINEUP
Jacob McBride – Averaging 72.1 strokes per round this season with two top-10 finishes.
Davis Richards – Averaging 71.7 strokes per round with two top-10 finishes.
Carter Page – Eight career top-20 finishes.
Stephen Franken – Freshman playing second tournament of his career.
David Cooke – Two individual medalist honors in his Wolfpack career.
