Wolfpack Battles Orange Sunday in Televised Match

RALEIGH – The NC State women's soccer team ends a three-match road trip Sunday afternoon at Syracuse in a televised match. Kickoff between the Wolfpack and Orange is set for 1 p.m. from SU Soccer Stadium with live coverage provided by RSN and ESPN3.
LAST MATCH
Jackie Stengel recorded a goal and an assist as the Pack took a 2-0 lead inside the first 30 minutes at Miami before falling 3-2 in double overtime.

-Sunday's match marks the second meeting between NC State and Syracuse.

Jackie Stengel has been incredibly consistent for NC State during her career. The redshirt sophomore has scored 14 goals in 35 career appearances, or 0.40 goals per match.
PENALTY SAVED!
Sydney Wootten faced the first penalty of her collegiate career on Oct. 8 at No. 2 Florida State and passed the test in the 41st minute by stopping Carson Pickett's spot kick. On the other side of the field, the Wolfpack has not been awarded a penalty since an October 13 (2013) home contest against Clemson: a span of 37 matches and more than two calendar years.
