Home record all-time: 425-124 (.774)
APPROACHING 600 WINS AND VERY ELITE COMPANY
With a career head coaching record of 595-183 (.764), Wes Moore is just five wins away from his 600th victory. If the milestone is achieved within the Wolfpack’s next 22 games, Moore will become just the ninth coach in NCAA history to achieve 600 victories in 800 games or less. Among the notable coaches who have met this criteria: Geno Auriemma and Pat Summitt.
10 POINTS OR BUST
Sophomores Miah Spencer and Dominique Wilson are the Wolfpack’s leading scorers at 14.6 and 14.3 points per game, respectively. Both of these guards have scored 10 points or more on 15 occasions this season.
FUTURE IS BRIGHT
Five future Wolfpackers from the class of 2015 - Rydeiah Rogers, Amber Richardson, Kaila Ealey, Jonquanae Cole, and Lena Niang - were nominated on Jan. 14 to play in the 2015 McDonald’s High School All-American Game on April 1. The final roster will be announced on Jan. 28.
DOUBLED UP BY NUMBER TWO
Len’Nique Brown-Hoskin leads the team in career double-doubles (3) on the Wolfpack’s active roster. Her last double-double (18 points and 10 rebounds) came in a narrow loss at No. 4 Louisville on Jan. 10.
SPENCER’S SCORING
Sophomore guard Miah Spencer just reached a significant scoring milestone in her second season at NC State. The Georgia native has scored in double figures 28 times in her 51 career appearances and is now sitting at 535 career points. She surpassed the 500 mark on Jan. 10 vs. Clemson and is the third active Wolfpacker on the roster to have achieved this mark (Barrett and Brown-Hoskin). Spencer has upped her scoring average from 8.3 points per game last season to 14.6 points per outing this year.
