TOUGH STRETCH AHEAD
Following the win against Clemson, three of NC State's next four games are against ranked opponents. During this stretch, the Pack will take on No. 4 Louisville, Wake Forest, No. 12 UNC-CH, and No. 25 Syracuse.
THE TOP OF HER CAREER
Senior guard Len'Nique Brown-Hoskin is having the best season of her career. Compared to a very strong 2013-14 campaign, LBH has seen significant gains in 3FG percentage (+11.7%), FG percentage (+6.9%), points per game (+0.9), and rebounds per game (+0.8).
SPENCER'S SCORING
Sophomore guard Miah Spencer just reached a significant scoring milestone in her second season at NC State. The Georgia native has scored in double figures 26 times in her 49 career appearances and is now sitting at 505 career points. She surpassed the 500 mark on Jan. 10 vs. Clemson and is the third active Wolfpacker on the roster to have achieved this mark (Barrett and Brown-Hoskin). Spencer has upped her scoring average from 8.3 points per game last season to 14.5 points per outing this year.
FOUR GOOD LOSSES
If there's such a thing as a good loss, NC State has four of them. The Pack has dropped contests this season to UNC-CH (RPI 10), Minnesota (25), George Washington (15), and Tulane (39). Only one loss (Villanova - 110) was against a team currently outside of the RPI top 100.
FIRE AWAY
For the second straight season, NC State remains a strong three-point shooting team. The Wolfpack averages 7.1 made three-pointers per game and has connected on 114 this season. NC State has hit at least five threes in 14 of 16 games this season.
