Weber Named 2014 ITA Scholar Athlete

RALEIGH, N.C. – Recent NC State graduate Sean Weber of the Wolfpack men’s tennis program was named 2014 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athlete, as announced by the organization Thursday afternoon.
A native of Raleigh, N.C., Weber was named ITA Scholar Athlete for the second time in his career. This past season, Weber earned a career-best 31 wins in doubles to go along with a career-high 19 victories in singles.
A student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.50 grade point average for the current academic year, must remain enrolled at the present school for a minimum of two semesters and must earn a varsity letter to receive ITA Scholar-Athlete status.
