Wolfpack Improves to No. 19 in ITA Rankings

RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State men's tennis team improved its ranking to No. 19 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) polls, as released by the organization on Tuesday.
The No. 19 listing ties for the highest ranking in the program's history, as the Wolfpack was previously ranked 19th in the polls during the 2007 campaign when the team advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championships.
This season, the Pack has claimed three victories against teams listed in the top 40 of the rankings, including VCU (No. 28), Michigan (No. 39) and South Carolina (No. 40).
The Pack will conclude its non-conference slate as it takes on Appalachian State and Winthrop on Friday, March 7. The Pack will square off against the Mountaineers at noon before welcoming the Eagles at 5 p.m.
