RALEIGH, N.C. – The No. 14 NC State women’s basketball team (22-4, 9-3 Atlantic Coast Conference) returns to action Thursday night, taking on the No. 7 Duke Blue Devils inside Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. The action will be broadcast live on ESPN3 while fans can also tune in to hear Patrick Kinas and Rachel Stockdale call the action on WKNC 88.1 FM and GoPack All-Access.

-Be the 581st win of Wes Moore’s head coaching career

SCOUTING THE BLUE DEVILS
-Duke enters Thursday’s game ranked seventh in both the latest AP and USA Today polls.
-The Blue Devils were most recently in action on Monday night, defeating Maryland in Durham by a final score of 84-63.
-Duke is currently the owner of a 23-3 record which includes a 10-2 mark in ACC play.
-The Blue Devils hold the third highest shooting percentage in the country at 50.4 percent. Their three-point shooting percentage (41.4 percent) ranks second in the nation.
-Duke’s Tricia Liston ranks second in the country from beyond the arc, hitting 48.9 percent of her attempts.
-Elizabeth Williams is the leading shot blocker in the ACC at 2.8 blocks per game.
-Duke is coached by Joanne P. McCallie. She has won two straight ACC Coach of the Year awards and last season guided Duke to the 2013 ACC Tournament title.
NC STATE - DUKE SERIES HISTORY
-Thursday’s game will mark the 75th all-time meeting between NC State and Duke.
-NC State holds a 40-34 lead in the all-time series.
-The two teams first met on Feb. 20, 1975.
-NC State won the first 15 meetings between the two pro­grams and 19 of the first 20.
-Duke has won two straight meetings and eight of the last nine.
-NC State’s last victory over Duke came on Mar. 2, 2012 at the ACC Tournament. The Wolfpack defeated the No. 5 Blue Devils by a final score of 75-73.
-The Wolfpack is 15-17 in 32 meetings at Cameron Indoor Stadium. NC State last won in Durham on Feb. 2, 1996.
CRASHING THE BOARDS
NC State had a huge day on the glass during its recent loss to North Carolina. The Wolfpack won the rebounding battle by 10 (40-30) and collected a season-high 25 offensive rebounds. NC State last collected 25+ offensive rebounds in a single game on Feb. 10, 2013 against Clemson.
From these 25 offensive rebounds, the Wolfpack was able to generate 27 second-chance points.
ELEVEN MORE FOR THE RECORD
At 195, NC State is just 11 made three-point field goals away from setting a new program record. The current mark of 205 was achieved by the 2011-12 team.
MOST ACCURATE SEASON IN PROGRAM HISTORY?
Should she keep up her incredible shooting percentage (68.2 percent), senior center Markeisha Gatling could set a new program standard at the end of the season. The prior best single-season shooting percentage of 64.4 percent was set by Rhonda Mapp during the 1988-89 campaign.
MOST THREES IN ONE SEASON
Myisha Goodwin-Coleman has made 77 three-point field goals this season. This currently ranks tied for the fourth most made in a single season throughout the history of the program. Should she make 14 more, she would become the new single-season record holder, passing Jennifer Howard’s 90 from the 1995-96 season.
CHERISH POSSESSIONS
Eight of the student-athletes on NC State’s roster have posted a positive assist-to-turnover ratio this season. Myisha Goodwin-Coleman leads the way with a mark of 2.5 assists to each turnover.
HOOPS 4 HOPE PRESENTED BY REX
Sunday, Feb. 16 marked the ninth annual Hoops 4 Hope game at Reynolds Coliseum. The game was broadcast live on ESPN2 and saw $5 from every ticket sold go directly to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. During the second half, NC State administra­tors presented a check to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund for $45,643.
An impressive total of 8,114 fans packed Reynolds Coliseum for the event.
