RALEIGH, N.C. – For the sixth straight week, the NC State women’s basketball team (21-3, 8-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) remains ranked in the USA Today top-25 poll. In the latest edition of the poll released on Tuesday afternoon, NC State was ranked No. 13 in the country with 390 points.
This news comes one day after State improved four spots in the Associated Press top-25 poll, coming in at No. 10.
NC State recently finished a 2-0 week of ACC play during which the Wolfpack defeated Wake Forest (Feb. 6) and picked up an overtime win at Virginia Tech (Feb. 9) thanks in part to this game-winning shot by junior guard Len’Nique Brown.
NC State will next be in action on Thursday, Feb. 13 at Clemson. Tip-off between the Wolfpack and Tigers is set for 6:30 p.m. The game will be aired live on Fox Sports South, Fox Sports Carolinas, and the following regional outlets.
