RALEIGH – The NC State women’s basketball team returns to action at home on Sunday afternoon, hosting Elon. Tip-off between the Wolfpack and Phoenix is set for 2 p.m. inside Reynolds Coliseum.

GETTING IT DONE AT THE LINE
As of games played Dec. 3, NC State boasts the highest free throw shooting percentage in the Atlantic Coast Conference. NC State has hit 132 of 166 (.795) free throws this season and ranks nearly three percentage points higher than the next team.
SPARK OFF THE BENCH
Redshirt sophomore transfer Dominique Wilson is having a very strong 2014-15 season. Through eight games, she has scored 119 points (14.9 per game) and has collected 15 steals. The native of Powder Springs, Ga., had a huge second half against Minnesota on Dec. 3, scoring 13 of her 15 points in the final 20 minutes of action.
QUICK HANDS
As of games played Dec. 3, NC State ranks sixth in the ACC with 10 steals per game. Miah Spencer (7th) and Len’Nique Brown-Hoskin (9th) rank in the top 10 individually.
BALL HAWK
Despite being the shortest player on the team at 5-5, Len’Nique Brown-Hoskin is averaging the second most rebounds on the team at 4.9 per contest. She has led or tied for the team lead in rebounds two times this season.
GOOD WORKS TEAM
NC State junior forward Ashley Eli is among 93 nominees for the 2015 Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Allstate Good Works Team, the organizations announced Dec. 3. Student athletes are nominated for the award because they have exhibited exceptional leadership skills and an unwavering commitment to volunteerism. The final roster of 20 recipients will be named in February.
DEFEND HOME COURT
On Dec. 3 against Minnesota, NC State suffered its first non¬conference home loss since Nov. 29, 2012 (Michigan State). The Wolfpack has not suffered back-to-back nonconference home losses since 2002.
MISSING JACKSON
Head coach Wes Moore announced in his postgame press conference on Dec. 3 that freshman guard Chloe Jackson will be out of the Wolfpack’s rotation for a significant number of weeks. The native of Upper Marlboro, Md., injured her foot in NC State’s Nov. 21 win over High Point.
SERIES HISTORY
-Sunday’s game will mark the seventh all-time meeting between NC State and Elon.
-NC State holds a 6-0 advantage in the series.
-NC State earned a 91-51 win over the Phoenix in Reynolds Coliseum 364 days prior to Sunday’s meeting.
SCOUTING THE PHOENIX
-Elon enters Sunday’s game the owner of a 4-1 record.
-Common opponents: Elon defeated Charlotte (67-54) on the road on Nov. 21 and lost at High Point (87-71) on Nov. 30.
-The Phoenix is led in scoring by Sam Coffer and Zora Stephenson’s 12 points per game.
-Elon was selected to finish sixth in the Colonial Athletic Association’s preseason poll.
-The Phoenix is coached by Charlotte Smith, who is in her fourth season at the helm of the program. She has coached Elon to a 54-45 record during her time in charge.
