Men's Cross Country No. 18 in National Rankings

RALEIGH, N.C.- NC State men’s cross country team ranks at No. 18 in the latest USTFCCCA Division I National Coaches’ poll, released Tuesday.
The team recently earned a second place finish, defeating three higher-ranked schools at the ACC Cross Country Championships on Oct. 31 to boost its national ranking.
NC State is one of five ACC schools listed in the top 30. They join No. 3 Syracuse, No. 21 Florida State, No. 22 North Carolina and No. 28 Virginia.
In the latest poll of the USTFCCCA Regional Team Rankings released on Monday, the Wolfpack checked in at No. 2 in the Southeast Regional as the highest ranked ACC team in the poll. Including NC State, all eight ACC schools in the Southeast Regional rank in the top 15
The Wolfpack will host the annual Three Stripe Invitational Saturday, Nov. 8 at the Wake Med Soccer Park in Cary, N.C., then head to Louisville, Ky., Nov. 14 for the 2014 NCAA Southeast Regional Championships.
