Gott Said It: "My first thought is that we are always happy to win but I think we need to play a lot better, especially down the stretch. Sometimes if you make a foul shot the game just ends a little bit easier. It was disappointing today that we didn't do a good job from the foul line. I thought in the first half they went to the zone. We got some good shots against the zone. We just couldn't seem to get the ball in the basket. Trevor and Ralston combined to go to 2-for-11 from the 3-point line, which I hope doesn't happen very often. I don't think it will, but we had good shots. I thought the fact that we couldn't knock down some threes was because they stayed in the zone a little longer. They did a good job of attacking the zone and getting it inside.
"There are a lot of things we can take away from this game and learn something. They are a tough team to play. They really spread the floor really well. They made some tough ones and you have to give those guys credit. They came in and played really well. We are obviously very happy to win and move on to the next game."
Up Next: NC State will play twice around the Thanksgiving holiday. The Pack hosts Richmond Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 7 p.m. Boise State comes to town Friday, Dec. 28 at 7 p.m.
