Cross Country Women Place Fifth at Pre-National Invitational

TERRE HAUTE, IND.- The NC State women’s cross country team took fifth place of 43 teams with a total of 233 points, while the men’s squad finished 13th of 46 teams with 449 points at the Indiana State Pre-National Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind. on Saturday.
Meet Highlights
-Joanna Thompson led the Wolfpack women with her 12th place finish in the individual standings with a time of 21:04.1.
-Sophomore Erika Kemp finished three seconds behind Thompson to take 14th place.
-Sam Parsons led the Pack with a time of 24:51.5 to finish 32nd, while Graham Crawford and Sebastian Hanson finished 85th and 106th, respectively, to round out the top three for the Wolfpack men.
