Women's Tennis Seeded Eighth in ACC Championship

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The NC State women’s tennis team was given the No. 8 seed in the 2013 ACC Championship field, as announced Monday by the league office.
The Wolfpack (13-8, 4-7 ACC) will begin play in the first round of the tournament this Thursday, April 25 at 9 a.m. against ninth-seeded Boston College at the Cary (N.C.) Tennis Park. The winner will advance to Friday’s second round and face top-seeded North Carolina at 9 a.m.
NC State defeated Boston College less than two weeks ago on April 13 when the Eagles visited Raleigh during regular-season play. The Pack won the doubles point and took four out of six singles matches to cement the 5-2 victory.
