Wolfpack Set to Host Three Stripe Red-Shirt Invitational Saturday

RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State men's and women's cross country teams will host the annual Three Stripe Red-Shirt Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, Nov. 9 at the WakeMed Cross Country Course in Cary, N.C. The men's 5k race will begin at 11 a.m., followed by the women's 5k at 11:30 a.m.
The Wolfpack will send 15 competitiors to its local course, while State's other runners begin their preparation for the NCAA Southeast Regional in Charlottesville, Va. on Nov. 15.
NC State will compete alongside Duke, UNC, Appalachian State, Elon and UNC-Greensboro in Saturday's event. In last year's race, State finished in second-place on both the men's and women's side.
