ITA Releases First Women's Tennis Rankings of 2013 Season

SKILLMAN, N.J. - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released it's initial team, singles and doubles rankings for the 2013 season Thursday evening, with junior Joelle Kissell listed in the top half of the singles poll.

Kissell, a 2012 All-ACC selection who advanced to the second round of last year's NCAA Singles Championship, is currently listed at No. 33 overall in the country. The poll lists 125 singles players in all, and 27 of the players listed attend schools within the ACC.

NC State will open the season at home on Thursday, Jan. 31 at 4 p.m., against East Carolina. The match will be played indoors at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center.
