Pack Completes Play at UVA Invitational

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - NC State men's tennis team completed play at the UVA Ranked +1 Invitational on Sunday. The Wolfpack had four different players compete in one match each. 

Sophomore Austin Powell came up just short in his match against Virginia's Mac Styslinger falling 6-7, 7-6, 6-3. Sean Weber dropped his match to Esben Hess-Olesen of North Carolina 6-2, 6-2.

Freshman Thomas Weigel fell to VCU's Alexis Huegas 6-1, 7-6, while Rafael Paez stumbled in the opening set 6-4 and was injured in the second set and did not return against Jonas Backstrom of Ole Miss.

The Wolfpack will return to action Saturday, Sept. 29, at the ITA All-American Championships.
