LAFAYETTE, La. – The NC State men’s golf team is tied for 12th after two rounds on Monday at the Louisiana Classics Invitational at Oakbourne Country Club in Lafayette, La.
The Wolfpack fired rounds of 289 and 295 for a total of 8-over 584, and is tied with Illinois in the 15-team field.
Sophomore Albin Choi is tied for fifth at 4-under 140 to lead the Wolfpack through 36 of 54 holes.
Senior Graham Baillargeon is tied for 44th at 3-over 147, while classmates Mark McMillen and Chad Day are tied for 54th and 58th at 4-over and 5-over, respectively.
Junior Mitchell Sutton is tied for 77th at 9-over 153.
LSU leads the field at 14-under 562, followed by Kent State at -10 and Memphis is a shot back at -9.
LSU’s Andrew Presley owns a three-shot advantage at 8-under 136.
The third and final round of the tournament will take place Tuesday morning.
