NC State Faces No. 5 Duke

RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State women's tennis team will return to action on Saturday, March 17, against No. 5 Duke. The match will begin at noon in Durham, N.C.
NC State is coming off of a win against No. 65 William & Mary at home on Thursday night. The Wolfpack topped the Tribe by a score of 5-2, to move to 5-7 (1-0 ACC) on the year.
Duke, ranked No. 5 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association poll, is 11-2 on the year. The match against NC State will be the first ACC competition of the year for the Blue Devils.
Duke is led by Beatrice Capara, ranked No. 2 in singles action. She is joined in the polls by Hanna Mar (No. 48), Monica Turewicv (No. 68), Mary Clayton (No. 71), Rachel Kahan (No. 102) and Ester Goldfeld (No. 117).
The duo of Capra and Kahan is ranked No. 19 in the doubles poll. Capra and Goldfeld are ranked No. 22, and Clayton and Goldfeld are No. 31.
NC State's Joelle Kissell is ranked in singles as well, coming in at No. 60. She picked up her third ranked win of the season against William & Mary, topping No. 109 Maria Belaya.
