Eight Named To 2011 All-ACC Academic Cross Country Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Eight NC State student-athletes were named to the 2011 All-ACC Academic men's and women's cross country teams on Tuesday, as announced by the conference office. NC State placed five men on the team, and three women.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.
On the men's side, Patrick Campbell, Andrew Colley, Adam Henken, Brian Himelright and Bobby Moldovan all secured a spot on the team. The honor was the fourth for Moldovan, a redshirt senior. Colley was one of seven members to also earn All-ACC honors, and one of three who was also named to the USTFCCCA All-America team.
Andie Cozzarelli, Laura Hoer and Joanna Thompson were named to the women's All-ACC Academic team. Cozzarelli and Thompson both earned All-ACC honors in the fall as well.
