RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State hosts No. 6 Miami and its "Beach Night" at Reynolds Coliseum on Thursday at 7 p.m. All fans are encouraged to wear beach attire, and those dressed for the occasion will have the chance at winning a trip to the Bahamas.
The Wolfpack will have its work cut for themselves in its final two home games of the regular season, hosting the Hurricanes on Thursday, and then No. 8 Maryland on Sunday, Feb. 26 on Senior Day at 2 p.m.
One interesting note to follow as the season nears the finish line is the final career totals for senior foward Bonae Holston. She moved into 14th place on the all-time scoring chart, and is now at 1,507 points. She is also piled up 850 rebounds, the eighth most in Wolfpack history. She has a shot at finishing in the top-10 in scoring, and if she does she have passed some really good former players in the likes of Jennifer Howard, Kaalya Chones, Rhonda Mapp and Sharon Manning over the next couple weeks.
State received a balanced soring attack last time out with four players in double figures, led by 13 from Kody Burke, but a poor final 12 minutes saw Wake Forest claw back for a 70-57 win over the Wolfpack on Sunday during the seventh annual Hoops 4 Hope game.
NC State visits North Carolina on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPNU.
