RALEIGH, N.C. - The unbeaten NC State women's basketball team is home this Tuesday to take on Charleston Southern at 7 p.m., at Reynolds Coliseum. A victory would send the Wolfpack to a 4-0 record for the second-straight season.
State is coming off a 102-49 victory over Longwood last Thursday night, the programs first time scoring in triple digits since 1997 against tonight's opponent - Charleston Southern.
Eight players scored in double figures for the Wolfpack in the win over the Lancers, the first time that has occurred since 1993.
Junior Kody Burke leads the Atlantic Coast Conference in scoring at 19.0 points per game. The Pack ranks second in the league with 90.7 points a game - the highest average through three games for the Wolfpack since 1991-92.
A balanced attack thus far has seen nine players scored 10 or more points in a game this season.
NC State continues a busy week at the South Point Thanksgiving Shootout in Las Vegas, Nev. The first game will pit the Wolfpack against Florida on Friday. Saturday's opponent will be Arizona State, and finally Northern Iowa on Sunday. All games tip at 5:30 p.m. ET.
