RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State women's basketball coach Kellie Harper has added Kaley Moser to the Wolfpack roster for the 2012-13 season.
A product of Williams High School in Burlington, N.C., Moser is a freshman walk-on that will provide depth to the team this season.
Moser played four seasons for head coach Tommy Cole at Williams. A team captain as a senior, she was named first team All-Region by the Burlington Times News and a All-State honoree from NC Preps.
She was an all-conference player in both basketball and soccer who led her basketball team to the 3A state championship game in 2012.
Moser is a perfect fit for the NC State program. During her senior season she raised nearly $12,000 for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund during Williams' Play4Kay event.
Her effort got her a trip to the Final Four in Denver last spring after raising more money than any other high schooler in the country for the cancer fund.
