The NC State women's basketball team finishes off a grueling first week of the conference season on Sunday at No. 7/6 Duke in Durham at 2 p.m.
It would be hard to argue that no team will play a tougher first three games within the ACC as the Wolfpack. It began with a home date against Georgia Tech on Monday, a club sitting just outside the top-25, and then playing at No. 12 Miami on Thursday, before completing the trifecta against Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Sunday.
State dropped a pair of 10-point contests to the Yellow Jackets and Hurricanes, and will look for its first win at Duke since the 1995-96 campaign.
Senior Bonae Holston rose another spot on the all-time scoring list last game and now sits 15th with 1,374 career points. This season she ranks 18th in the ACC with 12.1 points per game, and sixth with 7.9 rebounds per game.
Junior Marissa Kastanek leads the team in scoring, and is 14th overall in the league with a 12.9 per game average. Additionally, sophomore Kody Burke is 23rd in the conference with 10.9 ppg. Burke also ranks fifth in blocks with 1.7 a game.
