RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State and Florida State are tied in the ACC standings leading into Friday's matchup at Reynolds Coliseum on Friday at 6:30 p.m. The game can be seen on the Regional Sports Network and ESPN3.
Friday's game is Mascot Night at Reynolds. Check out the annual halftime mascot basketball game, which is always one of the highlights of the season. You might just see two Wufs, a Taco, a Monkey, a Bull, a Dinosaur, and a Pig.

The game is also part of ACC Sportsmanship Awareness Week that runs Jan. 23-29. Every league team will showcase its continued dedication to sportsmanship by participating in a pregame handshake before the game.
The Wolfpack had its three-game conference winning streak come to a hault last Sunday with a 60-50 setback to No. 24 North Carolina. The team could not overcome shooting just 27.8 percent for the game. Junior Marissa Kastanek led all scorers with 20 points.
State received four votes in the AP top-25 poll this week after a 2-1 record last week. It marked the first votes received this season by the Wolfpack. Meanwhile, Florida State began the season ranked No. 14, but has not received any votes among the national writers the last six weeks.
The Seminoles have won the last four meetings over the Wolfpack, but it has come by an average of just 4.5 points. Last season's matchup was the annual Hoops 4 Hope game, and FSU was able to hang on for a 76-69 win. Bonae Holston scored a career-high 30 points in the loss.
Florida State lost its last time out as well, 79-55, at home to Georgia Tech on Sunday, and has dropped three of its last four outings all together. Alexa Deluzio led the 'Noles with a career-high 28 points against the Yellow Jackets.
The winner on Friday night will control sole possession of sixth place in the ACC standings.
NC State has a quick turnaround and will play at Virginia Tech on Sunday at 1 p.m., in Blacksburg, Va. The game will be carried on the Regional Sports Network and ESPN3.
