RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State women's basketball team returns home to host Boston College on Thursday at 7 p.m. It's 80's night so dig up your best pair of acid washed jeans or parachute pants and root on the Wolfpack. All fans born in the 1980s gain free admission to the ballgame as well.
Additionally, the first 100 fans through the door will receive a tie-dyed Wolfpack women's basketball t-shirt, while the first 250 fans will receive a neon headband to compliment your 80's wardrobe.
NC State and Boston College are both searching for its first ACC victory of the season. The Wolfpack may have lost all three games last week in the opening week of the conference season, but you could argue no team played a tougher first three games. State lost to at No. 7 Duke, at No. 13 Miami and to a Georgia Tech club at home that currently sits just outside the top-25.
Meanwhile, the Eagles dropped ACC matchups to Virginia Tech at home, and on the road at Wake Forest this past Sunday. Kristen Doherty tied a career-high with 24 points in the loss at Wake. Only two starters are back from last year's squad that finished with a record of 20-13.
NC State is back on the road Monday at Wake Forest at 6:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on the Regional Sports Network.
