Bhambri and Nagaraj Earn NCAA Individual Berths

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. - NC State's Sanaa Bhambri and Sandhya Nagaraj have been selected for the 2011 NCAA Women's Tennis Singles and Doubles Championships, May 25-30 at the Taube Tennis Center in Stanford, California.
The NCAA selected 64 singles and 32 doubles teams to compete for individual championships, following the conclusion of the team championships on May 24.
Nagaraj and Bhambri secured an at-large bid to the doubles draw thanks to a successful 2011 campaign. The pair climbed as high as seventh in the nation, finishing the season ranked 17th, and represents only the second in school history to qualify, joining Daria Petrovic and Alejandra Guerra in 2007.
Ranked 28th in the nation, Bhambri also earned a selection to the singles draw, becoming the first Pack player to earn a singles berth since Kylie Hunt in 1995.
