BLACKSBURG, Va. – A limited number of NC State athletes participated in the Virginia Tech Last Qualifier Saturday at Rector Field House, the final scheduled event of the indoor track and field season for the Wolfpack.
Junior Miles Walker was third in the 400-meter dash with a season-best time of 48.84 seconds.
Sophomore Karimah Shepherd was fourth in the long jump at 19-feet, 7-inches.
Kwame Boatwright was 11th in the triple jump at 49-feet, 2 ½-inches.
Two Wolfpack athletes, sophomores Ryan Hill and T.J. Graham, will participate in next weekend’s NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in College Station, Texas.
