Hoer Named to All-ACC Academic Team

RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State freshman Laura Hoer was named to the All-ACC Academic Women's Cross Country Team on Wednesday, as announced by the conference office.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.

A week ago Hoer was named an Academic All-America selection by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

This year Hoer earned All-America honors after finishing 21st at the NCAA Championships. Prior to that, she won titles at both the ACC and NCAA regional championships.
