#39 Wolfpack Faces BYU, Minnesota

RALEIGH, N.C. --- 39th-ranked NC State women’s tennis travels to Minneapolis, Minn. for a pair of matches this weekend. The Pack opens the weekend against BYU Saturday at 1 p.m. before taking on 75th-ranked Minnesota Sunday at noon.
NC State (3-1) enters the weekend after enjoying a brief rest period since a 7-0 victory February 6 over College of Charleston. The win marked the Pack’s third shutout of the season, its only blemish a 4-3 loss to currently 15th-ranked USC.
Senior Sanaa Bhambri will play her first match of the year as a member of the national top-25 after receiving at #23 ranking in this week’s ITA release. Junior Sandhya Nagaraj will be looking for wins to improve her #76 national ranking.
In doubles play, Bhambri and Nagaraj will attempt to defend their seventh-place national ranking through another weekend. The tandem will face stiff competition from BYU’s top ranked team, Price/Craig, ranked 77th in the country.
