Freshman forward Kody Burke averaged 13.5 points, 10.0 rebounds and 5.0 blocks in two games last week for NC State. She had three blocks Sunday at Georgia Tech to tie the freshman-school record for blocks in a season with 49.
Sophomore Marissa Kastanek scored a team-high 14 points in a setback to the Yellow Jackets. Bonae Holston also added 10 points to extend her double-digit scoring streak to 22 games.
NC State hosts North Carolina on Monday at 7 p.m., from Reynolds Coliseum. The game will be televised on the Regional Sports Network.
