BURLINGTON, N.C. -The NC State men's team completed its competition at the Elon Invitational collegiate tennis tournament on Saturday, as all four singles players lost in the second-round of play at the Burlington Tennis Center.
Senior Julian Sullivan lost to top-seeded Torsten Wietoska of Duke, 6-2, 6-2, in the A1 singles bracket. Second-seeded junior Rafael Paez lost to host Elon's Stefan Fortmann in three sets, 4-6, 7-5, 6-2.
In the A2 singles bracket, freshman Beck Bond fell to Campbell's David Clavera, 7-5, 6-1. In B2 singles, junior Will Rollinson fell to Georgia Southern's Andrew Dromsky in three sets, 3-6, 6-1, 7-5.
