The NC State women's basketball game will be played Monday night as scheduled when the Wolfpack will host long-standing ACC rival Wake Forest at Reynolds Coliseum beginning at 7 p.m.
We ask that our loyal fans use their best judgment when it comes to supporting our team tonight. If your unable to attend the game in person, the contest will be televised on the Regional Sports Network, which includes Fox Sports South in the state of North Carolina.
Women's basketball season ticket holders who are unable to attend due to the weather may exchange their tickets for complimentary tickets to the men's basketball game versus Miami on Sunday, January 23. Simply contact the ticket office at (919) 865-1510.
The Wolfpack had its four-game winning streak snapped on Thursday with a 76-74 setback to Clemson in the league opener for both clubs. All-ACC forward Bonae Holston tallied a career-high 29 points and hauled in 13 rebounds to notch her third straight double-double (sixth of the season).
Scoring has certainly not been an issue for the Pack this season. By averaging 75.5 points a game halfway through the campaign, no Wolfpack club has scored at this rate since the 1996-97 team.
NC State has also grabbed 50 or more rebounds in five of the last six games.
Next up for the Pack is back-to-back road dates at North Carolina on Friday, and at Boston College next Thursday, Jan. 20 in Chestnut Hill, Mass. Both games begin at 7 p.m.
