The Wolfpack has lost four straight games, with three of those coming to nationally-ranked clubs. Last time out, Miami went on a 20-5 second-half run that led to an 84-77 win over the Wolfpack.
Bonae Holston scored a team-high 22 points and notched her 1,000th career point in the process, becoming the 27th player in school history to join the exclusive club.
Marissa Kastanek enters the matchup averaging 19.8 points over the last four games. That includes a career-high 30 at North Carolina and 21 points at Boston College. She has made 15 of her last 32 three-point attempts, which has put her No. 2 in the ACC in three-point shooting at 42.5%.
The club has stepped it up in ACC play from the free throw line, shooting 72.4 percent - the second best conversion rate in league play.
The Wolfpack steps out of conference to host Fairfield on Tuesday at 7 p.m., in a game that was postponed back in late December because of a snow storm that pummeled the Northeast.
