Men's Tennis Continues at Duke Nike Fab Four

NC State men's tennis continued its stay at the Duke Nike Fab Four on Saturday, Sept. 18, picking up a victory each in singles and doubles. Dominic Hodgson came from a set behind to top East Tennessee State's Jorge Varon in a third-set tiebreaker, 2-6, 6-3, 7-6(4), in consolation quarterfinals. Hodgson and Julian Sullivan later bested Corado Tocci and Pedro Graber of Virginia Tech, 8-6, in section A consolation doubles.
Rafael Paez and Dave Thomson both fell in other consolation quarterfinals bouts, while Sullivan lost, 6-1, 6-4 to North Carolina's Joey Burkhart in the section A quarterfinals.
Sunday, Sept. 19, will serve as the last day of play at the Duke Nike Fab Four.
