Pulgar Earns All-ACC Honors

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Sophomore Jaime Pulgar was named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference men's tennis team, which was announced on Thursday, April 22.
Pulgar, who is currently ranked No. 67 in the country had an impressive season for the Wolfpack. Playing at the No. 1 singles throught the year, Pulgar went 14-9 and 6-5 in the ACC. His wins include beating No. 5 Guillermo Gomez of Georgia Tech, No. 38 Yoann Re of Virginia Tech, No. 48 Diego Cubas of South Carolina, and No. 50 Jason Jung of Michigan.
Pulgar also went 14-8 in doubles matches, playing mainly at the No. 2 and No. 3 spot.
This is the fifth straight year a player from men's tennis has made the All-ACC team.
