Wolfpack Softball hosts "Power in Pink"

The Wolfpack softball team will host their "Power in Pink" breast cancer awareness game this Friday, April 2^nd at 2pm when they host Boston College. 

Head Coach Lisa Navas believes that this game is an opportunity to raise money for the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund and help find a cure for cancer.  NC State will wear pink Under Armour jerseys to show awareness for this cause. 

Fans are encouraged to wear pink and arrive early.  The first 100 fans will receive a pink NC State breast cancer awareness bracelet.  Kay Yow "Y" t-shirts will be on sale and pink crocs will be available for a small donation.

A silent auction will be held during the game to raise money for the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund.  Items will include the pink game worn jerseys, a team signed jersey, an autographed bat and other NC State softball items.

Admission is FREE and all fans are encouraged to stay for the second game of the doubleheader. 

All proceeds will benefit the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund.
