RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State softball team will host East Carolina on Tuesday, April 28th for the final midweek game of the season.
First pitch is slated for 6pm and the game will be streamed on ACCNX. Tuesday marks the second time the two program will have met this season, with NC State winning the first meeting, 5-2, in nine innings.
Fans parking on campus prior to 5pm will need to utilize the parking permit linked HERE.

- NC State and East Carolina will meet for the 29th time on Tuesday, with the Wolfpack holding a 19-9 advantage in the all-time series. NC State has won seven of the last 10 meetings, including each of the last five.
- The Wolfpack is 10-6 against the Pirates at Dail Softball Stadium and owns a perfect 4-0 record against ECU under head coach Lindsay Leftwich.

- Graduate student Charli Orsini delivered a career-best performance at No. 23 Virginia on April 26. The Australian right-hander struck out a personal-best six batters while tossing a career-high 5.2 innings in relief. From the moment she entered the circle, Orsini brought plenty of "juice"—the energy and intensity that have become trademarks of her game.
- Head coach Lindsay Leftwich has often praised Orsini for the spark she provides, both on and off the field. Throughout the season, Orsini has developed into a reliable presence in the circle, embracing her role out of the bullpen. And when she's not pitching, she's still making an impact, energizing the Wolfpack from the dugout.
- With just four weeks remaining in the regular season, NC State finds itself in a race against the clock as it looks to climb the ACC standings and secure its first conference tournament berth since 2022.
- Every game carries added weight down the stretch, with the Wolfpack needing key wins in the final month to punch its ticket to postseason play. After hosting Cal, NC State will head west for a top-25 showdown at Stanford before traveling to Charlottesville to face another ranked opponent in Virginia. The Pack will close out conference play at home against a strong Louisville squad.
