NC State Goes on the Road: The No. 26 Wolfpack leaves North Carolina to take on No. 9 Clemson on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. and No. 13 Georgia Tech on Sunday at noon.
The Series Against Clemson: This match will be the 38th meeting between the two opponents. The two met last year with the Tigers winning 7-0. The Pack last won in 2001, winning 4-3.
The Series Against Georgia Tech: NC State and Georgia Tech will be meeting each other for the 35th time. The Yellow Jackets won 6-1 last season. The Pack last beat Georgia Tech in 1998, pulling out the 5-4 victory.
Wolfpack Sweeps Richmond: The Pack showed no signs of a let down, sweeping Richmond 7-0 on Wednesday, March 24.
Pack Skyrockets Up Rankings: Going 3-0 the previous week the Wolfpack has moved up 14 spots in the latest ITA rankings to No. 26 in the country.
Seniors Approaching Records: Both Berkeley Brock and Daria Petrovic are rising up the record charts at NC State. Brock is tied for third place with 41 spring doubles wins. Petrovic’s 39 spring doubles wins stands at fifth all-time. Brock’s 42 spring singles wins tied for sixth all-time and her .531 singles winning percentage is 10th.
The Doubles Point Matters: In college tennis, winning the doubles point goes a long way toward winning the match. For NC State it is no different. The Wolfpack is 9-0 when the doubles point was won.
